Paul Sommers
A licenced builder with over 30 years’ experience in renovations and residential building, Paul is the Director of Evoke Kitchens and Bathrooms and Evoke Developments Pty Ltd. He has been the Project Manager and Builder for many new dwellings and his tally of renovations is in the thousands.
He set up Sommer’s Renovations to specialise in kitchen and bathroom renovations after seeing a gap in the market for quality spaces built by professional teams. This has been his focus for the past 13 years. The recent name change to Evoke Kitchens and Bathrooms signifies Paul’s dedication to these wet area renovations and his team who embrace the Evoke qualities.
As a builder, Paul is constantly renovating his own home and knows the chaos that comes with any renovation. He prides himself on customer satisfaction along with making each renovation as fuss-free as a renovation can be.
Paul has a straight-forward, genuine approach that ensures visibility and accountability across all stages of a renovation and his leadership drives the Evoke team to outstanding results.
Paul is a proud dad to 3 little boys who also keep him very busy!
Brooke Sommers
Brooke has been with Evoke for the past 13 years and is the backbone of our behind-the-scenes operations. She uses her organisational skills to keep the jobs, team and clients on track.
All of your pre-start communication is through Brooke. She is on hand to answer all of your questions and will help to make the decisions and lead up to your start date as stress-free as it can be.
Jeremy
Is the organiser… he’s switched on and calm. Jeremy's easygoing way and eagerness to make clients happy has earned him his place at the top in our growing business. He started with us as an apprentice and has worked his way through his apprenticeship and up the ranks. He is always ready to make our clients experience as easy as possible and we are really proud to have him.
Andrew
Andrew started his career as our apprentice and has worked hard to become a fully qualified carpenter. He is now a very valued Evoke team leader. He has a huge amount of experience in bathroom, kitchen and laundry renovations. His eye for detail is top-notch and keeping on schedule is his thing!
Bobby
Bobby is our plumber. His business ‘Bob Hannah Plumbing’ has been working with Sommers Constructions and Evoke for the last 13 years. Bobby is a great plumber and a very customer focused guy. It's impossible to be unhappy when Bobby is onsite!
Kenny
Kenny is a tiler - he cannot show you his face!!! But seriously, they say ‘ask and you shall receive’.....well we asked for an awesome tiler, who was fast and fastidious, worked hard, was reliable and knew how to talk to clients - and we got Kenny! Happy days.
Daniel
We use Danny and his team of big burley blokes from 'All Out Rubbish Removal' to do the demolition on most of our jobs. With 18 years’ experience stripping out and cleaning up, we sure have got the right man for the job! But don’t be put off by Danny’s size – he’s one of the friendliest guys you have ever met!
Cam
Cam is our 4th-year apprentice. He’s come along in leaps and bounds and has really found his feet in the carpentry industry. He is fun and friendly and willing to please. Cam likes to remind us all that he’s the company GOAT (Greatest Of All Time)... we’ll see but we are so glad that Evoke snavelled him up all those years ago.
Garrett
Garrett is our 1st-year apprentice. He’s great to have onboard and the boys tell us he's learning the ropes from the best in the biz! He is enthusiastic and friendly, quick to learn and is on his way to becoming a great tradie.
Cooper
Cooper is our 1st-year apprentice. He’s eager to please, asks lots of questions, takes it all on board and is on his way to becoming a great tradie. It's great to have him at Evoke as he learns the trade and becomes a valued team member.
